There are two things we refer to while planning our travel. Reviews and Travel Blogs. (Yes there are YouTube videos, reels and a lot more but I am talking about the reading part)
While Blogs provide us outlines they don't delve into specific details and we won't find blogs written on many hotels, restaurants or even famous tourist attractions. Although now we can find reviews on almost anything, the problem is that most reviews don't follow any criteria. An authentic Chinese restaurant can be rated 1-star by a person who knows nothing about Chinese cuisine or a good 3 star resort can get tens of 1-star reviews if a group accustomed to 5-star stays end up staying there. (You will find many such examples on Google Maps and Trip Advisor) So reviews can be misleading and may not provide a proper picture if not fitted into a perfect mould.
This website gives you a fusion of reviews and blogs where reviews are posted on fixed 5-point parameters like a small blog. No bias, no goodwill, purely based on the good, the bad, value for money, overall experience and the WoW factor
I love to travel and love to write. After travelling to four continents and writing two novels (and hundreds of 5-pointers on Google) I decided it is time to use my writing skills to help those who like to travel. I have started this site in hope that more travelers will be joining this 5-point revolution.
We all travel around the world, we all visit places and we all love to share our experience. So if you have visited this site looking for some authentic reviews then please contribute by at least sharing one 5-Pointer with us and we will publish it.
Don't let your experience get buried under the pile of thousands of useless reviews on other sites, rather reach people who value your true feedback. So don't just be a reviewer be a 5-Pointer. And don't worry about your writing skills, not everyone is an author, we here appreciate you sharing your experience.
And share your best photos. I am a decent writer but a bad photographer so I will really appreciate your great clicks enhancing the reputation of my gallery.
So what are you waiting for. Join the 5-Point community now and start Bloggering

You are welcome to keep coming back here to see new 5-pointers. A better option is to subscribe to my newsletter! Don't worry we wont bug you, only update you if there is some exciting new content. This site is not for making money just for the love of traveling.
I love to write and love it even more when someone appreciates my work.
If you appreciate all the efforts that have been put into this website then show your appreciation by downloading my book. Don't worry it's free on Smashword
Just leave behind a 5-Pointer on my work and wait for the other book that is coming soon
Don't worry. This is just an outline. We love creativity and you can use your imagination to write some spicy reviews as long as they serve the purpose of helping our readers.
General Information: Before you venture deep into your 5-pointers, start with general information about the place. Like, if it is a restaurant mention the type of cuisine. If it is an attraction mention if it is a thrill seeking adventure or place to chill. Also mention the suggested activity's duration so that people can plan accordingly. Now dive into the 5-Points (These are some basic guidelines. You can always improvise and discuss different aspects that you liked or disliked)
1. The Good
2. The Bad: Same as above only this time you will discuss the downers. The things that spoiled or dampened your experience. (Don't be shy. Discuss as many as you can. In some of my reviews this section occupies three-fourths of my 5-Pointer's carpet area)
3. The WoW/Oh No Factor: The absolute Highlight of this place
4. Money Matters: Was this place value for money? Please keep in mind the type of place you are visiting. Sometimes a 5 star resort is more value for money than a cheaper 3 star resort because of its facilities. A fine dining restaurant maybe better value for money in its category than a much cheaper roadside diner. So attribute Value as per its category
5. 5-Point Experience: This is the conclusion of all the above points. Did you really enjoy your experience? Did you create memories? Will you come back? Will you want your friends to visit this place? Some things cannot be described in the above four points so write them down here and share your overall experience of the place.
Pictures: Send us 4 to 5 of your best pics that further elaborate the points you mentioned in your review. Some people are lazy to read so we need to tell them the story in pics
That's it. That is how you become a 5-Pointer. (These criteria aren't perfect so I am open to suggestions)
Now quickly send us your 5-Pointers at my5pointreview@gmail.com
We will publish your review with your name on our blog (unless you choose to remain anonymous). So what are you waiting for? Get yourself published.
Happy 5-Pointing
